So, I just watched Man of Steel today, and I have to say that it was a pretty good/ok movie.
I mean…I absolutely LOVED the whole cast, I thought that part was brilliant; however, there could have been more substance in regards to the story and less…….fire. ( I mean seriously, there were explosions and fire all up in this b**ch).
The main reason I loved Christopher Reeve’s Superman back in the day is because they didn’t have all this computer animated stuff. They used their acting talents to tell a story, and move the audience, and create a hero everyone could love.
Personally, this Superman is relying too much on all the fancy fights and explosions (and don’t get me wrong) those were pretty awesome, but I think they could have done so much more with this movie.
PLUS!!!! (now I’m just ranting now) they didn’t even have a fortress of solitude, there’s no mention of kryptonite, and the whole beginning of the movie with krypton is not how I imagined it would go (but I guess each director has his/her own take on what he/she wants).
***SIDE NOTE: Henry Cavill is one FINE looking man. I mean…dayum!!
